If you look at your calendar, almost every day is a “day of” some thing or another. May it be a celebration, a commemoration, a marketing idea or just plain silly. In fact, the catholics have booked your year solid with celebrating a saint every single day … kind of annoying, isn’t it?

Why do we tend to do something like that? Why can’t a day just be what it is and still be a fine day? So I decided to declare January 5 as international day of itself, adding a small program that can be repeated annually (see above).
